The Catholic Church does more than welcome new members; she
forms disciples. To seekers old and new, those feeling alienated or
indifferent, the Roman Catholic Church offers Jesus Christ and his love,
the fulfillment of hope.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the pastoral
process that begins in September and ends at Easter that initiates new
members into the Church. Through the RCIA process at a parish the Church
leads seekers to knowledge of the truths of faith, to the celebration of
the Seven Sacraments, to commitment to the moral life--including the
forming of a social conscience--and to the practice of prayer, and at
the same time, the Church responds to their desire for community.
If you are interested in joining the Catholic church and would like more
information about the RCIA process please contact St. Mary Church
