In anticipation of the Feast of St. Dymphna on Wednesday, May 15th, the Diocese of Toledo, in partnership with the Catholic Psychotherapy Association, is dedicating this week to raising awareness for mental health issues in our communities.
St. Dymphna is the patroness of those afflicted with mental illness and mental health professionals. Let us come together as a community to foster understanding, compassion, and support for those who suffer from mental health afflictions. Together, through our prayers and actions, may we honor the legacy of St. Dymphna and strive for our own mental health and work to reduce stigma about mental illness in our community.
