Baptism

“Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway of life in the Spirit. ... It is the first and chief sacrament of forgiveness of sins because it unites us with Christ who died for our sins and rose for our justification." (CCC 1213, 977 )

Through the waters of baptism, we are born into a new life in Christ and His Church. Whether an infant just a few weeks old or an adult encountering the Church for the first time, our parish community rejoices with great joy when we welcome our newest brother or sister in Christ.

Parents are the first and best teachers of the faith for their children, and godparents promise to assist them in this venture. To support them in this responsibility, our parish schedules individual meetings with parents and godparents, scheduled on different days and times in order to meet the needs of our families!

Please consider contacting us before your child is born.
Please note that all Baptisms require 2 to 3 months for scheduling and preparation if needed..  Call the parish office (440-967-8711), and click here:  Register for Baptism Sacrament Prep.  We are excited to walk with you at this joyous time in your lives!
